Condolence From: Daniela Schon
Condolence: I had the pleasure of working with Monica for many years at Zion Heights Junior High. She always greeting me with a lovely smile. I use to walk by her class and admire how attentive the students were whe she spoke. The kids loved her. One year our classrooms were connect by a door. I would often send students over from my class to write a test and she always received them with joy. What a great loss for Monica's family, friends students and collegues. A wonderful woman. We will miss you Monica. Rest in peace.

Condolence: My deepest condolence to the Tang family for losing such a beautiful daughter, sister and aunt. My heartfelt sympathy goes to Maria who cares so tenderly and gives so wholeheartedly to her sister. Maria, you walk along with Monica through her most difficult journey in life, supporting her, protecting her, literally carrying her, ….. every step of the way. Seeing how you care for Monica brought tears to my eyes. This sisterly love is unequivocal. You are the hand and the feet of Christ to Monica. May God bless you and embrace your family in the palm of His hand.

Condolence: We were acquainted with Monica just 1 year and a half ago, through her sister Maria. We are truly impressed by her faith as she embraced her pain and suffering with prayers and trust in the Lord. She resorted to the Rosary to calm her ever growing pain and recited the Divine Mercy many times a day. Even though she was ill, she made a lot of effort to attend mass regularly and to receive Holy Communion. She took her role as a Lector with reverence and piety, and continued to read at her church up to the very end. She mentioned that she received strength from the Lord as she went up the pulpit to read. She demonstrated the power of belief and prayers. Thank you Monica, you brought us closer to God !

Condolence: My thoughts and prayers are with the Family. I got to know Monica when she and I became reading partners at Holy Spirit Parish, she is an excellent lector and doesn’t really mind which reading to do. She will sorely missed. May her soul rest in the bosom of the Lord.

Condolence: We know words aren't much comfort at a time like this and there is little we can say to lessen your grief. We hope time will quickly soften the blow and leave you only cherised memories. You have our deepest sympathy in your bereavement.

Condolence: We are reading Psalm 23 for Sunday Mass this weekend. It brought back memories of Monica. She was my volunteer at Joyceville Institution. Monica offered to drive other volunteers from the GTA area to visit offenders once a month. We have also gathered a number of times outside of prison ministry. Monica tried to live her life as best as she could and give as much as she could. I am very impressed by her love and dedication to her parents. She flew to Hong Kong to spend time with her parents 3 times a year. She also is a loving sister to Peter and Maria. What a loss. The cancer has given her so much pain but she tired to keep her positive and pleasant nature. No more sufferings now, Monica. Miss you and your smiles.

Condolence: On behalf of Wah Yan College Kowloon Alumni Association of Ontario, I would like to send our deepest condolences to the family of Ms. Tang. A number of her students in the Wah Yan days have settled in Toronto and surrounding areas. They have sent their condolences through various channels to us expressing their feelings of loss of a great teacher. Ms. Tang had been an active member of our association, joining many functions in the past showing her unequivocal passions with Wah Yan College. I'm sure she treasured a lot back in the good old days in WYK. Ms. Tang will be sorely missed!

Condolence: Miss Tang was my Form 3 English teacher at WYK. She was a great teacher and I learned a lot from her. To date, I still remember how I actually enjoyed working on her assignments. From writing a film review to interviewing foreigners at Tsim Sha Tsui, she always had creative ideas to help us learn. Thank you Miss Tang for your passion in teaching, I was very fortunate to be in your class. You will be missed. Condolences to Miss Tang's family.
