Condolence From: Rob Keyes
Condolence: Hi Maggi

I had very mixed emotions reading Richard's obituary - sorrow associated with his passing but happiness recognizing such a wonderful life lived. I am happy that I knew Richard and had the opportunity to have spent some great times with him. Richard will be missed. You are in my thoughts. Big hugs. Rob

Condolence: To Richard’s family —
Please accept our deepest condolences at this very sad time. He was a fine man, knowledgeable and generous in conversation. We met Richard at the weekly University of Toronto lecture series. Over the last three years we had many wonderful conversations over lunch discussing the topics of the day. It was always a pleasure to meet up and spend an afternoon talking history, politics and books. We will miss him . He was one of the ‘cool kids’ who made our circle complete.

Condolence: Thinking of you at this time.
Richard well remembered, Arthur ( J Langley Sr), Maj. ret'd, my father, who died in 2004 and it was good to hear about him at the RCMI monthly 'gunner' luncheon get togethers, as I was too young to really know about life within the 29th Field.. .except to be Dad's 'bat girl'...
Your Richard, Dad, Grandad was a lovely gentleman and reminded me somewhat of my Dad, in his manner.
Know he will be missed.
Kathryn

Condolence: Maggi, we are saddened for the loss of a great friend and colleague. Richard was a very special person who was always there for me. We worked together and enjoyed the good life together over the years. Our two families certainly had some wonderful times together - lots of long coversations over delicious meals. He will be greatly missed. With love and affection, Ralph and Carmen

Condolence: Hi Maggi. Sorry to hear about Richard. I have many good memories of working with him at Zeidler Architects and learned much from him.
But I have to say that I never missed his Old Port cigars!
Regards
Jim
