Mr. Karram was a genuine Godly saint. He always greeted me with a scripture verse along with his infectious smile and great laugh. I will always remember him. Until we meet again.

I remember him and his wife fondly. He took many devotions with us at Merl Grove High during the 60's. We of that period benefited significantly from both his and his brother's contribution to the building up of the school. (Eppie Edwards, Jamaica). I can see him and his brother Albert rejoicing, together with Pastors Cole and Henry White. I could include many others also. (Lloyd Cooke, Jamaica). The life of Godliness that Bro Stan led has endeared him to so many who remember him even after decades. We thank God for him! (Donovan & Lorraine Cole)

Mr. Karram was a mentor, a Godly man - an example to all who came close to him. His prayers - beautiful. His advice - thoughtful. His laugher - contagious. He wrote poetry in his twenties, and these lines are from a poem he wrote in Pine Grove Jamaica in August 1945 that sum up his life to me: "He leadeth me - then ever let me follow, With steps unwavering and a faith ne'er dim. Nor let me turn aside to my own choosing, But simply, safely trust my all to him....He leadeth me - O how my heart rejoices, That I have God Himself to be my friend; Then let me praise Him through the mist and shadow, He'll lead to lasting sunshine at the end." We don't mourn as others mourn - 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 - good bye to a dear friend, until we meet again in the clouds.

Whenever Marlene and I returned from Nigeria over the 10+ years we served there with Global Scholars Canada during our summer breaks, Stan and Lurene Karram always took time to greet us at church and to inquire as to how we were doing and how the ministry was going. Not only did they assure us of their holding us up in prayer, but they also faithfully and regulaly supported our work until declining health prevented them from doing so. If my memory serves me correctly, we enjoyed a restaurant meal with them and another courple (Len & Trudy Dyck) around the time of their 50th wedding anniversary. Stan and Lurene were both missionary encouragers. May their tribe increase! With our love and appreciation, Rudy and Marlene Wiebe
