We were school mates in Kenya. We carried being Mates when we started working, travelled together in my 1950 Morris. Till we parted in 1976. I went to Australia and later he went to Canada. We met again in 1995 when I came to Canada. Met his family two year later.

Marcello, (thats what I called him,) is the only school mate that kept in touch with me after school. We had some good time together I will never forget you. Mate, I missed you, these last few year, becuase I never heard from you, now I know why.

Thank for the good time and with a tear in my eye I say Goodbye Mate till we meet again.

My dearest brother-in-law Marcello, you will be missed terribly and you sure had a good sense of humour. Loved your jokes and I was very happy you waited for me to come from my vacation before you left us. I am so glad I spent the previous night by your bedside praying and talking to you. What can I say....Jose was always so kind, generous and a great sense of humor. I worked with him in Services for many years right up to when he retired. We shared the same birth month and his birthday was a week before mine. We had an annual deal, I would bake him a cake for his birthday and he would take me to lunch for mine. Every year I would make a different cake that he would take home and I'm sure he shared with his lovely wife & daughter. We had a lot of good times and laughs over the years that we worked together. I have missed the daily interaction since he retired and he will be very much missed.

My deepest sympathy to his family for your loss. I know that words are little comfort at this time but he was a wonderful man who brightened many lives with his goodwill and caring pesonality.

Farewell my cousin and friend. Along the years you have been there for me always calling me when I was in hospital and recuperating at home. The many hours we spent at your long term care talking and reminiscing about the past. The early days when we played pool and the pool stick you bought me will always be cherished.
