Beloved father and brother, Yiu Mo “Johnny” Lee passed away on January 30, 2023 at the age of 56, after an enduring battle with cancer. His strength and resilience was demonstrated in the months preceding his passing, through his unwavering love and positivity. He always put his family before himself, and stayed motivated and strong through the hope of gaining more time with his kids.

Johnny was born in China on August 28, 1966. He grew up in Hong Kong and his parents brought him to Canada for a better education. He graduated from the University of Windsor with a degree in Economics and Commerce. Johnny traveled the world throughout his life. He enjoyed exploring the world so much that he inspired his children to want to see the world, through many shared vacations, road trips, and cherished memories. Johnny also enjoyed spending time with his kids at Blue Jays games, and hotly debating opinions on movie sequels.

Johnny is survived by his two children, Jeannelle and Wyseman, dear companion Winnie, and his siblings in Hong Kong and Canada. A funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, February 5, 2023 at the Chapel Ridge Funeral Home in Markham. Visitation hours are from 1-2 pm, and the service will commence at 2:00 pm. Flower donations may be sent to the Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, and monetary donations are advised to be made to the Canadian Cancer society.
