Obituary for Edna Violet Agnes Eade

In Loving Memory of Edna Eade

Edna Eade passed peacefully into the presence of Jesus on March 24, 2023 at the age of 92.

She was predeceased by her parents Mabel (1981) and Ernie Eade (1987) and 1 niece and 3 nephews.

She is survived by her older sister Grace Crowder (Bruce 2001) and younger brother Bruce (Jean 2018) and 7 nieces and 1 nephew, and several grand- and great-grandnieces and nephews.

Born in Newmarket Ontario, Edna grew up in the Vandorf and Gormley communities. She later
entered Christian ministry leading Pioneer Girls (Canada) for several years. She earned her BA
in mid-life and was later employed in the Human Resources department of Public Works
Canada. After retiring, she became a consultant to churches and Christian ministries and
embarked on writing a book that would assist them in organization and human resources. She
revised and promoted the book until no longer physically able to do so. She earned her MTS
degree at age 87.

Her greatest legacy is her enduring faith in Jesus, and absolute trust in God. She had every
confidence that she was safe in his embrace and that he led her all the way.

Edna is remembered as a devoted sister, a happy and fun aunt, and a great friend to all who knew her.

Interment will take place at Heise Hill Cemetery, 11760 Woodbine Avenue, Whitchurch-
Stouffville, at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, March 29, followed by a Service of Love and
Remembrance at 12:00 at Unionville Alliance Church, 4898 Sixteenth Avenue, Markham.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Edna’s memory may be made to Unionville Alliance Church.
