Obituary for Nigel Elliott Whitfield
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nigel Elliott Whitfield on Friday, September 30, 2022, at 52 years old.
He passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Markham, Ontario. Nigel was pre-deceased by his mother, Doreen.
He is survived by his father, Bill, stepmother, Mary Lou, siblings, Rodney, Bill (Melissa), Christine (Shawn), Wesley (Annie), Amanda (James), many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation services will be held on October 6, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home & Cremation Centre in Markham, ON located at 8911 Woodbine Avenue.
Nigel loved meeting new people and could talk about anything and everything for hours. He was loved and will be dearly missed.
In lieu of flowers, Nigel would have appreciated donations be made to the Salvation Army or the Epilepsy Foundation of Ontario in honour of his late mother.
