CAROL DORA FERNANDES
Our beloved Mother,wife and sister has tragically passed peacefully at home in Markham, Ontario, Canada on April 23,2021.
Born in Nakuru, Kenya on October 5, 1957. Daughter of late Basil Fernandes and late Lizzie Fernandes [ex U.K. and Nakuru, Kenya]. Survived by her husband, Francis [ex U.K. & Nairobi, Kenya] and sons, Mark, Brian and Brendan [Toronto,Canada] and brother, Mark [Banstead, UK].
Carol will be dearly missed by her family, numerous cousins and friends spread across the world but cherished forever in our hearts.
Anyone who knew her knows what a strong presence she was . A person who came across tough but knew how to love harder. Carol loved the simple things in life , outdoors, travel,fishing, art, music and dance. Simply having a family meal together she prepared was her favourite thing to do.
Carol worked at Neilson media research for many years where she recently retired from . She also managed the whole family business Scrubby dogs along with raising 3 sons with her husband Francis.
Post retirement she became very active in organizing Senior social events in the Toronto east Goan association (TEGSA) She also wanted a start a hobby business creating arts and crafts which was in the works.

The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil. Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death.
