Nazira (Nazek) Aziz Girgis
November 26, 1920 - May 4, 2019

It is with a mix of earthly sorrow and the spiritual joy of knowing that eternity in heaven is God’s promise to those who believe, that we announce the passing of Nazek Aziz Girgis, at the age of 98 in Toronto, on Saturday, May 4, 2019. She is survived by her 5 children: Nadia and Wafaa in Toronto, Nabila (dec. William), Aziz (Hugette), and Shahira (Adel), in Egypt; her 7 grandchildren: Baher (Gina), Miriam, Bassem, Engi (Mina), Shady, Lucy, and Lily (Stephen); and her 4 great-grandchildren: Marly, Daniel, Natalie, and Taline.
She was well known as a woman of faith, grace and gentle spirit. Even during her prolonged illness, she was compassionate and graceful. Loving and gentle to the end with her family, loved ones, and support staff.
