August 18, 1932 to April 29, 2019
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Konstantinos Kavouris. Konstantinos was born in Lefki, Lakonia, Greece on August 18, 1932, the son of Vasilios and Demetra Kavouris. Konstantinos led a full and happy life surrounded by the love of his family and friends.
Konstantinos passed away on April 29, 2019 and will be missed by his adoring family, including his beloved wife, Zoi (nee Tsimidis); his son Vasili and daughter-in-law, Katina; his son Michael and daughter-in-law, Maria; and his daughter Dimitra and son-in-law, John. As well as his loving grandchildren: Anastasi, Konstantina, Zoe, Christina, Harry, Konstantine and Theodore. Brother of George (deceased), Maria (deceased), Petros (deceased), Demetre, Panayioti (deceased), Yianni, Anaryiros, and Olga.
Konstantinos will be dearly missed by those he shared his life with and will never be forgotten, as he will continue to live on in our cherished memories.
May his memory be eternal.
The family is thankful to the tireless and supportive staff at Sunnybrook Hospital and extends their sincere gratitude to Dr. Eugenia Piliotis for her exceptional care, comfort and empathy.
Visitation to take place on Wednesday, May 1st, 2019 at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home (8911 Woodbine Avenue, Markham, ON) from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, May 2nd, 2019 at St. Panteleimon Greek Orthodox Church of Markham (11323 Warden Ave, Markham) at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Elgin Mills Cemetery (1591 Elgin Mills Rd E, Richmond Hill)
In lieu of flowers, the family will be appreciative of donations to Sunnybrook Hospital Hematology Disease Site Group.
