Carol Knapman Weis (1947 – 2018) passed away peacefully on Saturday October 27, 2018. Mother to Peter (Nadine), Max (Angelina) and Jesse (Diane), Grandmother to PJ, Hunter, Colton, Jake, Madeleine, Waverly, Josh, Megan and Cara, Daughter to John and Gertrude, Sister to Debbie, friend to many and pet lover to all. Born in New York and raised in Florida before living life to its fullest while making many friends in Oakville, Mayne Island, Langford and Toronto. Carol will always be remembered as a one-of-a-kind, fun-loving, free-spirt that fully embraced family festivities, nature, and the arts but most of all, she loved being a ‘super mom’ and a grandma. We will forever miss her uplifting spirit, constant smile & infectious giggle. Thank you to her close friends Barbara Hyde and Brian Spaven, and Brenda and Duncan Newman, as well as all the warm and caring staff at Union Villa Long-Term Care Facility who provided such amazing support and care when she needed it most. A small private family funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 9:30 AM at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, 8911 Woodbine Ave, Markham, ON L3R 5G1, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Union Villa Long-Term Care Facility.
