Olga Louisa Allen (nee Marchand) passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 5, 2018 at Chartwell Woodhaven Residence in Markham, Canada. Born in 1918 in Belize, Olga celebrated her 100th birthday this year surrounded by family and friends. She called numerous places home over her 100 years including Belize, Jamaica, United States and Canada. Olga will always be remembered for her wonderful smile that could brighten any day, her mischievous little laugh and her extraordinary life stories.
Predeceased by her husband Russell Allen whom she married in Jamaica in 1938. Blessed with a large and loving family who brought great joy to her life, her legacy lives on in her three children, Marlene (the late Ivor), Michael(Chris)and Alicia(Tony) Dearly loved Nana to her eight grandchildren and adored "Gran-Nan" to her 11 great grandchildren. Loving sister to Sonia Scott (nee Marchand). So wonderful to think about, yet so hard to be without, Olga was a beautiful soul who will never be forgotten.
A private celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
