Cruz, Cirila (nee Sanchez) passed away at St. Michael’s hospital on June 26 in her 89th year. Loving wife of the late Anastacio Cruz. Beloved mother of Consuelo Co, the late Virginia Isla, the late Carmencita Catli (Conrado), Carolina Cruz (Ed), Cecilia Gueco (Jesus), Carina Aman (Diogenes) and Romeo Cruz (Daisy). Cherished grandmother of 20 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Thursday June 28th from 5 to 9 pm at the Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, 8911 Woodbine Avenue, Markham, Ontario, L3R 5G1. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 29th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 5633 Highway #7, Markham, Ontario, L3P 1B6 (Highway #7/ McCowan).
