Colin Patrick Sztronga was born June 22, 1970 in Simcoe, Ontario to Edward Sztronga and Sharon Sztronga (nee Smith) of Delhi. He finished his high school education at Delhi District Secondary School, before getting a diploma in Renewable Energies from Durham College in Oshawa.
He lived in Markham at the time of his untimely death. He was employed by Brofort Corporation as a field manager, and was well respected by his colleagues.
He is survived by his wife Janet and their son, Marco, whom he adored. He is also survived by his mother, Sharon Sztronga of Grimsby (Ian Blakelock), sister Kim Pereira (Adelio) of Waterloo and brother, Matthew (Angela) Sztronga of Simcoe. He is also survived by nephews, Tristan Pereira of Waterloo, Roman Sztronga of Simcoe, and niece Sydney Sztronga of Simcoe.
Colin had many passions in his life. He loved to ride motorcycles. He loved to scuba dive and he loved to take photographs, particularly of wildlife. He loved to be with nature. He immersed himself in, and excelled at all of his hobbies. But mostly, he was a very kind and gentle man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
There will be a visitation for friends and family at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, 8911 Woodbine Ave, Markham, ON on Sunday, June 17 between 5 and 9 p.m. Cremation will follow, with internment in a cemetery in Markham.
A second celebration of life will be held at the Hungarian Hall in Delhi on June 30, 2018, beginning at 1 p.m.
